Bananas’ Axe Cabana – New Rochelle is located in downtown New Rochelle, NY, minutes from the New Rochelle Metro North station. Our location is less than 1/4 mile off of Exit 16 on I-95 and is convenient to all of Westchester and Fairfield counties and New York City.

We are on the 2nd floor of the New Roc City Mall. The entrance is between Buffalo Wild Wings and the Regal Cinema. You do NOT want the Audi dealership, nor do you want Monroe Athletic Complex. The best place to park is in the garage at 50 Harrison Street.

My partner and I have been looking for a new axe throwing place since the one closest to us had close. We were wonderfully surprised when we found Bananas' Axe Cabana. Although it's a bit out of the way it it absolutely worth the drive. Its a nice clean and fun environment with friendly staff and a wide drink selection. We had the best time!!

Review Had such a fun time at Banana Axe Cabana in New Rochelle! 🪓✨ The whole place has such a great vibe, and the decor and lighting are absolutely beautiful. The staff, Richard and Kelly (I believe that was her name!) were amazing. They were so friendly and such a vibe! There’s so much to do, from the arcade to the photo booth, which made the whole experience even more fun. It’s definitely a great spot for a hangout with friends or even a cute date night. 💕 Definitely coming back! 10/10 experience! ⭐️

Went for a sibling couples date during our family vaca and had such a fun time! The owner was very helpful especially for those of us with little to no experience axe throwing. I could tell he had a lot of fun just watching us. If we ever vacation in the Orlando area again, we will definitely go back.

What a great time i have in bananas Axe cabana, first time visiting this place and had a blast. Love their tropical tiki themed atmosphere. Staff is so friendly, welcoming and attentive they also provide with guidence for first time throwers and how to used their digital games. What i love the most was their digital games they have a variety of axe throwing games on digital targets, they offer drinks and food is available to ordee from local restaurants. They have happy hour on weekdays and trivia nights. Very fun place to go with family , friends for any event.

Such a fun activity! Spent a really enjoyable two hours here with family. Started out with classic target boards and then played a whole bunch of other ax-throwing games, like Battleship, Tic Tac Toe and Zombies (don’t hit the humans!). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again.

The gentleman who got us set up was incredibly helpful, explained everything clearly, and even brought out some smaller throwing axes for us to try when we were playing the darts game. That extra level of attention really made the experience feel personalized and welcoming. The bartender was equally wonderful! Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Everyone we interacted with made us feel welcome and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s clear that the people here care about creating a great experience for their guests. If you’re looking for a fun date night, group outing, or just something different to do in Orlando, I highly recommend Banana’s Axe Cabana. We’ll definitely be back!

Had time to kill before our dinner reservation and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Well kept and clean inside. Many different types of games to play while throwing axes, who knew lol. Gentleman at the front counter was more than happy to show us a couple times how to properly throw the axe. Came out for a corporate team event and had an absolute blast. The staff made it easy for a group with zero axe throwing experience — patient, fun, and kept the energy up the whole time. The lanes are well set up, the bar area has a great vibe, and the themed events they have going on (Trivia Wednesdays, happy hour deals) make it clear this isn't a one-and-done kind of place. Already thinking about reasons to come back. Highly recommend for groups or anyone just looking for something different on a weeknight.

This was our first time axe throwing EVER, and we had the best time. Paul was super helpful and gave us some great pointers on how to throw. As a Brit we had no idea where to go but found this place on google and wow. What an amazing experience this was! We only came in for an hour and ended up spending 6 hours here due to the amazing company and conversation from Paul Megan. The best bar tenders we’ve ever come across, they made us feel so at ease and super welcome. The atmosphere here is second to none and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to throw some axes and have an awesome conversation with two really down to earth people. Amazing service! We had a work event here and it was awesome. We worked directly with the owner Stuart, he gives top tier services as well as his whole crew. They made sure we knew everything we needed to know to have a safe and great fun time. The catered food was organized and delicious! (they coordinated nearby hibachi to be served). I would definitely go again. I preferred this much more to bowling mainly because of my great experience at Bananas Axe Cabana. Thank you!

Stuart and his team were absolutely outstanding! Our United Community Bank group had an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was seamless—from booking and coordination to the delicious dinner from Kobe and the clear, helpful instructions on axe throwing. The atmosphere is warm, fun, and perfect for both families and groups of friends. There are so many games to choose from, so it never gets boring, and the option to cater from nearby restaurants is such a unique and convenient touch. It was the perfect way to end a very busy day. Had a really great time! Came on a Friday right at 3 when they opened and we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were super kind and helpful, and the lanes were really well maintained. I love that the board is done with a projection instead of painted on. We really enjoyed playing the regular target style game, but also the wheel of fortune style word game as well. Would definitely come back!
