About Us

Bananas’ Axe Cabana is Orlando, Florida’s largest and most immersive axe throwing (and steel-tipped darts) venue and tiki bar. We created Bananas’ after experiencing and enjoying axe throwing with our friends and family.

With a dedicated and passionate team of axe throwing professionals, we ensure that your visit is safe, enjoyable, and packed with thrilling memories.

We have 16 axe throwing lanes each of which can accommodate up to 4 people. For parties of up to 8, you will share 2 lanes (we call that a pit.) Larger parties can also be accommodated with multiple pits.

Sessions run for either 1 hour or 2 hours.

We have beer, wine, hard seltzers, hard ciders and soft drinks available and there is food available to order from multiple local restaurant partners.

We have an additional Bananas’ Axe Cabana location in New Rochelle, NY.

We also own trap’t Escape Room Adventures in Stamford, CT and Panic Room in both Stamford, CT and Norwalk, CT. Visit our sister company, Split Oak Axscape Games in St. Cloud, FL for Axe Throwing and Escape Rooms.

Bananas’ Axe Cabana is one of the incredible things to do in Orlando and is conveniently located minutes from Disney Springs, Universal Studios, Sea World, International Drive, The Vineland Premium Outlets, The Mall at Millenia, and The Florida Mall. We are within a 30-40 minute driving distance from most of the Orlando Metropolitan Area and are close to Kissimee, Lake Buena Vista, Dr. Phillips, Horizon West, Windemere, Winter Garden, Winter Park, Clermont, Sanford and more.

My family and I had a great time at Banana’s Axe Cabana. Paul was very friendly and explained how all the various games worked. Games like tic-tac-toe, zombies and traditional dart board made it fun for teenagers and adults alike. They have a good variety of drinks on site if you get parched while tossing axes. Overall, a nice venue with amazing entertainment and a phenomenal staff.

We absolutely love throwing at Bananas Axe Cabana.We started going this summer and have already been back several times. Paul and Megan are always so welcoming, and helpful. Whether you’ve thrown axes before or you’re a complete beginner, they’re always happy to give you tips and help you improve. We enjoy the place so much that we even invited our family to come celebrate my birthday with us. It’s such a fun atmosphere, and you can tell Paul and Megan genuinely care about making sure everyone has a great time. You definitely need to check it out you won’t be disappointed!

My partner and I have been looking for a new axe throwing place since the one closest to us had close. We were wonderfully surprised when we found Bananas' Axe Cabana. Although it's a bit out of the way it it absolutely worth the drive. Its a nice clean and fun environment with friendly staff and a wide drink selection. We had the best time!!

“ … You and your damn reviews … “ what my girlfriend said after we left and I said I’d review the place. It was a great place to be in a high traffic high volume tourist area that needs something different. It was better than we expected but if I’m being honest it was truly a better experience with Axe throwing than we expected. We both have thrown axes, knifes and ninja stars but here having a digital screen on the wooden board made it better because it has various games you can play. Also the tiki bar is great. If anything the bathrooms should have vents

Review Had such a fun time at Banana Axe Cabana in New Rochelle! 🪓✨ The whole place has such a great vibe, and the decor and lighting are absolutely beautiful. The staff, Richard and Kelly (I believe that was her name!) were amazing. They were so friendly and such a vibe! There’s so much to do, from the arcade to the photo booth, which made the whole experience even more fun. Had lots of fun at the Bananas Axe Cabana in New Rochelle. Easy to use and navigate. The employees were knowledgeable. Only negative was that the AC was either not working or off. Made it uncomfortable. They also didn't have cold water which would've helped with the heat. will go back but hope the AC is on.

This was a lot of fun. The owner is a great guy and very accommodating. They have a decent selection of craft beers but no food or hard alcohol on site. Anything other than bagged snacks needs to be ordered in. The pizza place we ordered our food from was decent. But if you are looking to have a great time throwing axes and laughing this is your place.

Went for a sibling couples date during our family vaca and had such a fun time! The owner was very helpful especially for those of us with little to no experience axe throwing. What a great time i have in bananas Axe cabana, first time visiting this place and had a blast. Love their tropical tiki themed atmosphere. Staff is so friendly, welcoming and attentive they also provide with guidence for first time throwers and how to used their digital games. What i love the most was their digital games they have a variety of axe throwing games on digital targets, they offer drinks and food is available to ordee from local restaurants. They have happy hour on weekdays and trivia nights. Very fun place to go with family , friends for any event.

Such a fun activity! Spent a really enjoyable two hours here with family. Started out with classic target boards and then played a whole bunch of other ax-throwing games, like Battleship, Tic Tac Toe and Zombies (don’t hit the humans!). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who got us set up was incredibly helpful, explained everything clearly, and even brought out some smaller throwing axes for us to try when we were playing the darts game. That extra level of attention really made the experience feel personalized and welcoming. The bartender was equally wonderful! Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Everyone we interacted with made us feel welcome and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s clear that the people here care about creating a great experience for their guests. If you’re looking for a fun date night, group outing, or just something different to do in Orlando, I highly recommend Banana’s Axe Cabana. We’ll definitely be back!

Came out for a corporate team event and had an absolute blast. The staff made it easy for a group with zero axe throwing experience — patient, fun, and kept the energy up the whole time. The lanes are well set up, the bar area has a great vibe, and the themed events they have going on (Trivia Wednesdays, happy hour deals) make it clear this isn't a one-and-done kind of place. Already thinking about reasons to come back. Highly recommend for groups or anyone just looking for something different on a weeknight.

As a Brit we had no idea where to go but found this place on google and wow. What an amazing experience this was! We only came in for an hour and ended up spending 6 hours here due to the amazing company and conversation from Paul Megan. The best bar tenders we’ve ever come across, they made us feel so at ease and super welcome. The atmosphere here is second to none and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to throw some axes and have an awesome conversation with two really down to earth people. Amazing service! We had a work event here and it was awesome. We worked directly with the owner Stuart, he gives top tier services as well as his whole crew. They made sure we knew everything we needed to know to have a safe and great fun time. The catered food was organized and delicious! (they coordinated nearby hibachi to be served). I would definitely go again. I preferred this much more to bowling mainly because of my great experience at Bananas Axe Cabana. Thank you!

Stuart and his team were absolutely outstanding! Our United Community Bank group had an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was seamless—from booking and coordination to the delicious dinner from Kobe and the clear, helpful instructions on axe throwing. Had a really great time! Came on a Friday right at 3 when they opened and we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were super kind and helpful, and the lanes were really well maintained. I love that the board is done with a projection instead of painted on. We really enjoyed playing the regular target style game, but also the wheel of fortune style word game as well. Would definitely come back!
